The booking process is simple:

2️⃣ We schedule a call and book your session
3️⃣ You decide on your package
4️⃣ Sign your contract + pay your invoice to lock in your date — and then we are officially doing this!

What the experience looks like:

From the moment you book you will receive personalized questionnaires built around your specific story and vision. Leading up to your day you will get monthly planning emails, wedding day guides, timeline help, and a photographer who actually picks up the phone. On your session or wedding day I am your biggest hype woman AND your calmest presence — sometimes in the same five minutes. After your session you will receive a sneak peek within 48-72 hours and your full gallery within 2 weeks for sessions and 6 weeks for weddings.

I have said it before and I will say it a hundred more times — there is nothing like golden hour in a Tennessee field in the middle of summer. Even when it’s hot. Especially when it’s hot. 🌾

Katelyn and Drew showed up to Harlinsdale Farm ready to give it everything — three outfits, open fields, rustic barns, and a sunset that was genuinely showing off. We shot digital all evening and burned through one roll of 35mm film and I could not stop smiling behind the camera the entire time.

These two are the kind of couple that makes my job feel like the easiest thing in the world. The way they move together, the way they laugh — it all just translates. Every. Single. Frame.

If you’re about to pick up a camera for the first time, I need you to hear this👇🏼

Skip auto and learn manual mode first!

I know that’s not one of those people say. Most people will tell you to start on auto and work your way up. But in my experience - as someone who has photographed weddings, engagements, and portraits professionally - the photographers who learned manual mode from day one developed their eye faster, build consistency sooner, and understand their craft on a level that auto mode photographers spend years trying to catch up to.

Manual mode feels hard at first because it IS. But that difficulty is the point. Every time you mail an exposure and manual, you understand something new and how light behaves. And once you understand light - truly understand it - you can make intentional, beautiful images in any situation, with any camera, in any lighting condition.

that’s the foundation that this entire career is built on. And it starts with putting the dial on M and refusing to move it!

When was the last time you looked at a photo and thought; that truly captures me?

Not just because of a good angle or flattering light, but because it is a genuine reflection of you.

This is something I think about as I go into every one of my wedding days. Not “did I get the shot” but did I truly get them.

The way they are when they forget a camera is around. The moment nobody asked for that turned out to be the one they have framed on their wall!

2025 was a year that shaped my business unlike ever before.

It was my first full year being back in Nashville after being away for 2 years. I had to truly re-establish my business in a market 100x bigger than when I moved.

To be honest, it wasn’t the year I “expected” for my business. But, that’s okay. All that means is that I am going to be working twice as hard to make my goals for next year a reality!

2025 was a year of change.

It was the year I fell back in love with photography.

The year I taught myself how to shoot film. (Biggest accomplishment of the year, in my opinion!!)

A year of pivoting.

If anything, 2025 was the stepping stone I needed to get me one step closer to the business I have always dreamed of running!

Thank you for everyone who has invested in me this year! Thank you to everyone who has already invested in me for 2026. Your loyalty and support will never go unnoticed!
