KINSEY & JB!!!!

THIS DAY!!! I’m still thinking about how many people showed up for these two. This was the biggest bridal party I’ve ever seen (30+ people!), and if that says anything, it says how deeply these two are loved!

When I first chatted with Kinsey and JB last October, they said their priorities were simple: family, faith, and maximizing their time on the dance floor.

The boys got surprised with a limo that was doing its absolute best to fit everyone. The girls had the sweetest, most natural first look together, and they all got ready in such a beautiful space. Champagne toast after champagne toast. Just constant celebrating from start to finish.

The park was completely transformed by the team at and it genuinely felt like stepping into a different world. And the live band… they did NOT let the dance floor breathe all night. I think my feet were on the verge of falling off.

It was loud, chaotic, emotional and fun! All of it at once!
I would photograph days like this over and over again. Not because it was “perfect,” but because it was SO FULL OF LOVE AND LIFE! Isn’t that what your wedding is supposed to be anyways? 🙂‍↕️

“They’re just photos.”

That’s what it sounds like before you need them.

Before the day goes by faster than your brain can actually hold onto it. Before you realize you didn’t notice half the things you thought you would. Before life moves on and the details start slipping away.

What people don’t tell you about wedding days (and I am speaking from my own wedding day experience too) is your memory can’t carry all of it.

It keeps the larger moments. But it loses all of the in between. And then the day becomes a story you tell… instead of something you can fully step back into.
Couples come back to me and say things like:

“I didn’t realize how much I missed it until I saw these.”
“It feels like I’m right there again.”
“I can’t believe I forgot that part of the day.”

So, no. I disagree. Until all you have of a memory is just photos, you don’t realize the gravity.

They’re the only reason you don’t lose the parts of your life that meant the most.

Gianna & Dylan!!!

MY GOSH?! These few days celebrating these two truly could not have been better if I dreamt them up myself.

They chose the most beautiful venue, , tucked atop a tranquil hilltop town in Umbria, Italy. We were surrounded by rolling hills and farmland in every direction. Truly such a special introduction to this beautiful country.

They welcomed everyone with pizza, boatloads of mozzarella, endless wine, and laughter that carried into the wee hours of the morning (I learned very quickly that Italians stay up LATE!!). The next day, we woke up and listened to the entire Harry Styles discography while getting ready before they got married beneath an arch of pink roses.

So much laughter. So much dancing. INSANE performances from .events. Fireworks lighting up the sky as they cut into their cake. Handmade cannolis. Gelato. A dance floor that somehow felt like being back in college again.

Some of the kindest people I’ve ever met were all under this roof. The way they showed up for Gianna & Dylan, traveling from all over the world to be there, was felt in every. single. interaction.

WHAT. A. DAY.

I already know I’ll relive this wedding in my mind forever. Truly one of those celebrations that reminds me exactly why I love what I do so much.

Madalyn & Miles get 20 slides for this one because WOWWWW!!! What a day. From a slow morning by the pool to the dreamiest golden sunset pouring over their outdoor reception, this whole day felt like a movie from start to finish!

The details were unreal. Custom trucker hats for the new Barillas (plus a little masters love ⛳️), a beer b***o that completely stole cocktail hour + everyone’s hearts, and even a barge on the cumberland river sending out a celebratory honk during the ceremony. Truly could not have planned it better.

Such a treat to document a day like this. So much joy, so much fun, and the absolute best people. Cheers to the Barillas 🤍

This beautiful editorial set from my friends over at was such a joy to be part of. It felt really good to step into something creative before the season kicked off. Trying out new gear, meeting new friends, and just spending a few hours making some beautiful art. 🤎

This setup was one of my favorites. It completely changed how I feel about continuous light, and I’ve officially developed a new love for my Holga (if you know, you know 🫠)

Gosh this day made me feel something I can’t even fully explain!!

It still feels wild that & I get to create spaces like this for creatives. Like… this started as an idea back in 2021 and now it’s real and it’s so special. This year is going to be insane (in the best way)!!

We spent months scouting locations in California last year. Google maps, geotags, reddit threads, all of it 🫠. When we found this spot in the state park, we were like… there’s no way it actually looks like this in person.

We had our friend who lives locally (and past attendee), Anna go check it out for us, and then when we finally got there for the retreat… I swear it was even better than anything could possibly describe.

There were maybe 3 people in the whole park. Elk just out in the distance. Waves crashing, birds everywhere, and just a wild painted sunset. What a feeling the earth provides.

As everything turns that bright, almost electric green here in Tennessee, I keep coming back to Olivia & Wyatt’s solstice wedding.

Wyatt’s only real concern that day was Olivia. Making sure she felt seen, cared for, special in every moment. And together, they just wanted their people to have a really good day.

It felt like them.

I come back to these photos a lot…..weekly at least. These are the kind of photos where you can feel the room. The kind where personality just spills out. Where you start to understand the people around them without ever meeting them.

That’s always the goal for me. Isn’t that what the whole point is? The proof that it was real, that it was yours, that it moved the way it did because of who was in it. Cheers, Liv & Wyatt 🌸
