The rain kept coming every time we stepped out to take any pictures. We moved the ceremony back a bit to try to find our window. Then it all just disappeared, the sun was out and the celebration for K & M was amazing.

Let’s talk about how we get these photos. I am mostly a documentary photographer. I try not to take over a moment or put my own spin on it.

The first photo Khole had literally just got on the horse. I handed her the flowers and she started talking to her bridal party. There was 0 guidance in this photo.

The second photo was prompted to give her a spin as you we were walking to the private vows location.

The bridal portrait was 100% posed. There’s some shots that just have to be if you want a certain type of photo.

The groom portrait the only extra thing I did was make sure he had a hat. He was looking down at his bride for this one!

The last photo is guided to face each other and kiss.

Nothing is overly posed and stiff. I want to capture things that actually happen on your wedding day.
