Happy to get back in the gym after my knee surgery. Only 2 weeks post op and you can still see swelling, so I need to be careful. I’m taking PT very seriously and putting in so much effort so I can get back to normal and take on life head on. Can’t do leg day yet until they clear me to do so.

The past 2 weeks of being out of the gym has impacted my body and mental health. Getting back to it is helpful and will only get better.

Thank you to those that have checked on me daily and wished me a speedy recovery! ❤️

Backstory: Tore my meniscus on NYE being drunk and wrestling around in my living room with friends.

Surgery: Removal of complex meniscus tear and clean up of arthritis in all 3 parts of the knee.

Physical Therapy: They are surprised and enthusiastic about my, strength, range of motion and ability to walk. Although, I still have a long way to go. Twice a week for 3 the next weeks, plus at home exercises.
