He almost didn’t let me share these.

Most men don’t. They book the session, show up nervous, let their guard all the way down in front of the camera, and then they decline the model release. Those images become a private gift for one person and disappear. That’s exactly why people still believe bo***ir is “a women’s thing.” The men are absolutely doing it. You just never get to see them.

This is still one of my favorite sessions I’ve ever shot. He walked in not knowing what to do with his hands and left standing like he owned the room. The long hair, the ink, the hockey stick, that grin in the last frame I will never get tired of looking at.

So to the man who said yes to letting these out into the world, thank you. You just made some other guy feel brave enough to book.

Bo***ir is for everyone. Tag the man who needs to hear it. 🤍

She spends her days in the NICU, holding space for the tiniest fighters, the babies whose lungs are still learning how to do the one thing that should come easy.

She’s a caretaker. Always has been. The kind of woman who pours into everyone around her and barely stops to refill her own cup. At work. At home. In every quiet way the world never claps for.

So when she walked into the studio, I already knew.

This wasn’t going to be about the lingerie or the lighting.
It was going to be about her finally being the one who gets held.

For a few hours, nobody needed anything from her.
No charts. No shift. No one to take care of but herself.
She got to sit in stillness, the way she does on her best mornings with coffee and a good book, except this time the whole moment was hers.

And watching her settle into it? Watching the woman who carries so much for everyone else let herself just be soft, just be seen?

That’s the part I’ll never get tired of.

She gives the world her steady hands every single day.
This was the day the world gave a little back to her. 🤎

So to the caretakers, the nurses, the ones who hold everybody together and forget they’re allowed to be held too:

I see you. And one day, I hope you let yourself sit in front of my lens and remember it too. 😘

She came in as a baker, a crafter, a fiancée trying to do something brave for the person she loves.

She told me her confidence comes and goes.
That she wanted to look back at these images and know she felt truly beautiful.
Truly powerful.

And she did. 🥹

But here’s the thing nobody tells you before a session:

You walk in thinking you know exactly who you are in front of a camera.
“I’m not really a photo person.”
“I’ll just do a few looks.”
“I mostly want this for him anyway.”

And then something shifts.

Maybe it’s the light hitting you just right.
Maybe it’s the way your body looks in a corset you never would have picked for yourself.
Maybe it’s the moment you stop performing and just… exist.

And suddenly it’s not about the gift anymore.
It’s about what YOU see.

She booked this session as a wedding present.
She left with something she didn’t expect to find.

Proof that she’s both.
Soft and powerful.
Creative and sensual.
A people person who also takes up space unapologetically and looks STUNNING doing it. 🔥

That’s what this work is.
That’s why I do it.

She entered a giveaway on a whim. Won. And figured, why not do something for myself for once?
She’s 40, a nurse, an introvert who spends every shift pouring herself out for other people. She didn’t come in feeling sexy. She came in feeling nervous, self-critical, and honestly a little unsure if there would even be one good photo of her.
There were so many she couldn’t imagine leaving any of them behind.
By the time we got to her reveal, she was leaning forward in her chair, hand over her mouth, shocked in the best possible way. As the images moved across the screen she kept saying… wait, that one too. And that one. And I need that one.
That’s what happens when you finally see yourself in intentional light, with someone in your corner who knows how to find what’s already there.
She told me afterward that bo***ir helped her see that she can be sexy even though she’s plus-sized. That she no longer feels like she needs to hide herself just because she’s overweight. That on the hard days, she looks back at those pictures and thinks, hell yes, I’m a badass.
She came in as her own worst critic.
She left with proof that she had it all along.
If you’ve been sitting on the fence, scrolling past these posts, telling yourself it’s not for you or you’re not ready or you’ll do it when… this is your sign.
You don’t have to feel ready. You just have to show up.
Nashville women, your session is waiting. Drop a comment or send me a DM and let’s talk about what this could look like for you.

People always ask me…
“Why do so many clients cry at their reveal?”
And honestly? This is why. 👇🏼
Almost every woman walks in thinking:
“I’m just doing this for fun.”
“I don’t really need this.”
“I’m not the type of person who does things like this.”
And then we sit down together.
And something shifts.
Because suddenly she’s looking at herself and thinking:
“Wait. Is that really me?”
“I had no idea I looked like that.”
“I want to remember this version of myself forever.”
That’s what this is actually about.
Not lingerie.
Not pretty pictures.
It’s about having something to come back to on the hard days.
When you forget what you’re made of.
When you need a reminder that she’s still in there.
You can look at those images and think:
“Hell yeah. I’m a badass.”
That’s the whole point.
That’s always been the point. 🔥

Something I hear all the time…
“I just want a few images. Nothing too crazy.”
And I get it.
You’re not sure what to expect.
You’ve never seen yourself like this before.
So you keep it small. Safe.
But then the gallery opens.
And suddenly “a few” doesn’t feel like enough anymore.
Because you’re scrolling through and thinking:
“Wait, is that actually me?”
“I look like THAT?”
“Okay I cannot leave without that one.”
That shift you feel?
That’s not me selling you anything.
That’s YOU finally seeing what everyone else already sees.
The version of you that’s been there the whole time.
Just waiting for the right light.
The right moment.
Someone who knows how to draw her out.
You don’t walk away wanting more because you got caught up in the moment.
You walk away wanting more because you finally got it.
And I will never get tired of watching that happen. 🖤

Okay I wasn’t going to do this.
April Showers sold out fast. Like, really fast. I started getting DMs from women who missed it and I felt so bad because I could tell they actually wanted to come.
So I looked at my calendar and found one more date.
May 5th. You’re getting first access before I post it anywhere else.
15 minutes. One shower scene. $149.
Your session includes 1 fully edited image and you can add on more from your gallery if you love them. (You will.)
This is limited edition pricing. Not my regular rates.
Only 8 spots.
“I almost talked myself out of it three times. I’m so glad I didn’t.”
This is what I keep hearing from the women who came in April. Every single one of them was nervous. Every single one of them had a reason not to come. And not one of them left feeling the way they walked in.
You don’t have to feel ready. You don’t have to be at a certain weight or a certain point in your life. You just have to show up. That part I can promise you is worth it.
April went fast and I genuinely don’t think May will be different. If you’ve been on the fence, send me a DM and we can talk through it. Or DM me MAY5 to grab your spot right now.
Seriously though. I hope I get to photograph you on May 5th.

Your birthday is coming.
And if you’re anything like most of the women who end up in my studio, you’ve already started talking yourself out of it.
Too busy. Not the right time. Maybe when things slow down.
But here’s what I know: that day doesn’t come on its own. You have to choose it.
I’m choosing 25 Nashville women for a full luxury bo***ir experience. Professional hair and makeup by me, two styled looks from our client closet, a full session, and studio credit toward your images.
A whole day that is entirely, unapologetically yours.
Entry is free. Takes two minutes. Your story is what gets you in.
👇 Drop your birthday month below. I want to see how many of you are coming up on your day. And if you know someone who’s been saying “maybe next year” for way too long, tag her. She needs to see this. 🖤

The single tear when she saw herself. 🩵

This is my favorite part of this job. The moment it all clicks and a woman realizes just how breathtakingly beautiful she is. She booked this session as a birthday gift to herself, stepping into a new chapter with intention and self-love. Her words? She’s embracing her authenticity and vulnerabilities out loud.

I just get to capture it. And I am so grateful for that. 🖤

Yesterday afternoon this came through and honestly, I had to just sit with it for a minute.
“Pretty sure my husband will be sending you a thank you gift for the confidence you gave me…hell and he’s not even seen the good stuff yet.”
I laughed. And then I teared up a little. Because I remember her walking in that day. I remember the way she carried herself at first, that quiet hesitation so many of my clients bring through the door with them. Like they’re not quite sure they deserve to take up space in front of a camera.
And then something shifts. It always does.
By the end of our session she was GLOWING. Not because of anything I did, but because she finally let herself be seen. Really seen. And she liked what she saw.
That’s the moment I live for. Every single time.
She hasn’t even shown her husband the images yet and she’s already walking differently. Talking differently. Feeling differently about herself.
That’s not a photo. That’s a transformation.
I’m so proud of her. And I’m so grateful she trusted me with something this sacred. This work never gets old, and messages like this remind me exactly why I said yes to it in the first place.
