It's a 10 minute drive for me to get to downtown Nashville from our little spot in Cane Ridge. I am an early riser, and typically out of bed between 4-5am. The first thing I do after I shake the sleep from my eyes to check the weather (shout out 🌤️). I know that if the forecast is mostly cloudy that I have a good chance of capturing the clouds as they bend the beautiful sunlight over Broadway.

Sunrise this morning was 6:28am, and I didn't make up my mind to go shoot until 6:11am. I grabbed my bag, and quickly hopped in the trusty 2011 Ford Fusion. I get a little anxious as I am driving down 24, and the sun is starting to show light. If I catch traffic or anything slows me down then I will miss the morning magic. I pulled onto Korean Vets at 6:24am, and got outta my car at 6:26 exactly. That was just in time to capture this photo. It was a good morning to be out, and I am glad I went. Hope to be out shooting more in the next couple
weeks! Love you Nashville ❤️🎶

Shoot The Moon (Scroll ➡️ for 📸)

It was a 4am kinda morning last weekend to grab these photos of the Beaver moon. It was debatable earlier in the morning as to whether or not the cloud cover would open enough to see the moon. Luckily, it opened up enough to get these shots. I love the way the moonlight gets trapped in the clouds, and how it creates those beautiful patterns.

Also ended up in the perfect spot to get the moon sitting on Mercury's fingertips. Interesting bit of info...Mercury is the Roman god of wealth and commerce. He sits atop

The last photo is a long exposure from Cumberland Park. By this time of the morning, it was so cold and I could barely feel my hands. Frigid! 🥶

All in all, it was a cold, fun morning trying to chase the moon around town.
