Fall family sessions are in full swing, and my editing queue is proof! 🍂📸

I've been spending my days photographing some pretty amazing families and my nights trying to convince myself that I don't need to edit *just one more gallery* before bed. 😂

And somehow, in the middle of all this fall photo craziness, CHRISTMAS is right around the corner! 🎄

I've been loving all the beautiful families in front of my camera lately, and I have so many more sessions to share!

We kicked things off with some pretty chilly temperatures, but WOW, the fall colors are showing off this year! 😍🍁

Thankfully, a little cold weather is worth it when the backgrounds look this good! And so far, the kids have been troopers!

When you think family you probably don't expect five people wearing pumpkins on their heads playing baseball. 🎃⚾

But here we are. 😂

This might be one of the most unusual family sessions I've photographed, and also one of the most fun!

Sometimes the best family photos are the ones that show off your family's slightly questionable sense of humor.

When you're a photographer who tells families how to coordinate outfits for photos, the pressure is ON when it's your own family. 😂

So naturally, I spent way too much time putting together our fall outfits... and then asked ChatGPT to judge my work. 🤣

Apparently, I earned a **9.5/10!** Not bad for someone who has probably overthought every single sweater, shoe, and shade of burgundy.

Now I need some human opinions! **How do you think I did?** Would you change anything, or did I nail it? 👀Also, how weird to you think I am for asking AI to judge me?

The kids are getting older, schedules are getting crazier, and somehow another year has gone by without updating those family pictures.

Yep, even the photographer has to round up her own family, coordinate outfits, and convince everyone that family pictures are a GREAT idea. 😂

I've been working on our outfits and it is not easy to coordinate for 6 people…

When the kids get older, life gets BUSY. Sports, school, jobs, friends, activities… suddenly getting everyone in the same place at the same time deserves an award.

And honestly? That’s exactly why you shouldn’t stop taking the photos.

Your teenagers are still changing. Your family is still changing. And someday, you’re going to want photos of this version of them too — even if getting everyone to cooperate requires a little bribery. 😂

Fall minis are a perfect excuse to update those family photos without committing to a long session.
