SJ Hastings Photography I am an artist, a storyteller, a memory keeper... I am an artist, a storyteller, a memory keeper and I love to travel, and experience new things!

I grew up with a camera in hand because my mother encouraged it early on and I learned so much from her before I even made it to college. She taught me the fundamentals and the value of photography. On vacation... photographs were our souvenirs. No family gathering was complete without my mother making her rounds with her camera; documenting those moments. I learned to understand that those momen

ts were preserved through her as our family historian. We live in a world full of incredible technology, the internet, and an over abundance of selfies. Although we have access to pictures daily, it's important to take the time to have professional portraits made for benchmark moments in life and sometimes just because it's time for a nice headshot or family portrait. My point is that portraits are important! My mission to create beautiful, timeless images for families to treasure for years to come.
