Busy season snuck up on us! On Saturday, we celebrated Mason + April with the most beautiful, intimate outdoor ceremony at Crystal Fountain Park. I was especially excited to finally check out this venue after hearing so many good things about it. And the reserved vendor parking was a huge plus!

As the sun started setting, we snuck away for some golden hour portraits, then they did a sparkler exit followed by a fun sorority chant surrounded by so many friends!

It was a honor to celebrate with you both - and I especially loved all the fall colors throughout the decor and floral arrangements. Such a beautiful day! 💛

After a studio space was heavily requested, I’ve decided to rent one in Maumee, OH! You can expect the setup to look similar to the top left photo, with a few additional seating options.

I’m so excited about these and hope you are too! Another exciting perk of moving indoors is not having to worry about scheduling a backup date due to inclement weather!

The total cost is $215, with a $100 retainer required to secure your spot. The remaining balance will be due three days prior to your session.

Lauren has been a bridesmaid in two weddings we’ve photographed, and now it’s her turn!

We had to reschedule their engagement session because of torrential downpours, but Sunday was the best make-up day we could've asked for. It will be fun to see how different the park looks from September to February when they get married and we head back to the same spot! We look forward to kicking off our 2027 wedding season with you both. 💛

Zach + Alison - We loved spending the entire day with you two, from getting ready all the way to nearly the end of the reception! Everything was pretty perfect… except maybe the swarm of bees. But hey, that’ll make for a good story to tell your grandkids someday.

It was also such a surprise to see SO many familiar faces at the reception. I told Shem, “I don’t think we’ve ever photographed a wedding where we knew this many people!” It was especially fun because it seemed like we knew people from so many different walks of life, which made it feel a little like a reunion for us too.

You two were such a joy to work with, and you have the sweetest families. They were even sweet enough to send us home with yummy treats that will last us a while. 😂

Congratulations, you two! We loved being there to capture every moment of it!

🍂 FALL MINIS! 🍂

I know some of you have been patiently waiting for these, and I apologize that they’re coming a little later than usual. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t even sure we were going to be able to host fall minis this year. October is already packed with weddings, an out-of-state trip, and other commitments, and I just wasn’t sure how we were going to squeeze them all in.

Because our schedule is so full, we will not be accepting any full family sessions in October. So if you’ve been wanting beautiful fall pictures, this is your chance!

They will be held in Grand Rapids, OH — exact location will be announced once we see how the colors are looking.

Please be sure you're also available on the backup date for potential inclement weather.

50% nonrefundable retainer is required to secure your spot with the remaining balance due 3 days prior to the minis. I'm excited we've been able to work them out, and I hope you are too! (We also have some remaining spots open for sunflower minis on August 23rd if you'd like something sooner!)

P.S. I know that I have quite a few of you with mini gift certificates that haven’t been redeemed - please be sure you check expiration dates! We plan to host Christmas minis as well, and that’ll be it for 2026. 💛

Just wanted to give a little heads up that we are officially booked up for the remainder of 2026, aside from our Fall & Christmas Minis!

The little availability we do have outside of minis is reserved for rain dates - and judging by the weather lately, we’re probably going to be putting those to good use.

It has been such a memorable year, and we are looking forward to seeing so many familiar faces over the next few months as we wrap up another year! 🤍📸

CHRISTMAS MINIS 🎄- I normally hold these outdoors at a tree farm, but I’m thinking about switching it up this year and renting a studio space with neutral Christmas decor/props.
