When one client makes you want to shift solely to fitness portraits😅

This day was nothing short of magical, and these images are proof that when you come into your session with a clear goal in mind and trust in me to achieve it, that anything is possible.

Sessions are a team effort, on my part, hair/makeup/styling (shout out to the queen Gabriella Macchiarolo ), and your part too. It takes all of us working together to create impactful images. And when the dream comes together, you’ll want to do it again and again.

Less is almost always more. Unless you’re going for really over the top, because I’m all for that too… you guys know. But clean lines and simple, solid color choices keep the focus right where it should be- on you. I’ve been sitting on these photos for way too long. My photos have been on 4 book covers now, but this one was my first and is by far my favorite. Ali and I’s friendship can only be described as fully orchestrated by the universe and to say I’m thankful for her would be such a huge understatement. She is a steady, calm, positive energy even when it would be easy to be the opposite. She is so uplifting and a truly kind soul who does so much for everyone around her.

This was supposed to be a business/branding post, because they say a post without purpose doesn’t do as well; but Ali deserved a brag. If you don’t know her, you should go follow her. She’s amazing. She also owns Viva La Bronze Luxury Mobile Spray Tanning SWFL which I’m SURE you’ve heard of since it won Best of the Gulfshore, AGAIN!

Oldie but goodie. Any day in the studio with Alice is a good day. For the new people here, Alice is the reason I became a photographer in the first place. A random friendship, running all over Marco Island, probably being where we shouldn’t have been. Haha. But the best day and the first time I really got to be creative with a camera. THAT WAS 10 YEARS AGO THIS YEAR. Swipe to see a couple photos from that day. 😅🩵

Show me a cuter pup. I’ll wait. Koda was a perfect little lady during our session and was so much fun. Not pictured is the button she presses when she wants a treat, and she pressed it A LOT. 😂🩵

Your pets (as long as you pinky promise they are well behaved and won’t p*e on anything lol) are always welcome to have their photos taken in the studio too.

That feeling when your bubble stick cigarette doesn’t actually blow more than one bubble at a time and they don’t float away... We had big plans for this silly bubble making cigarette. But being able to pivot when an idea doesn’t go according to plan is important.

As always, a .gallery appearance by the giant egg lamp.

Knowing color theory may seem unnecessary when it comes to your photos; but being familiar with which colors go well together (according to science, not opinion 😉) can make a big difference in how impactful your images are to others, or how soft of an impact they have if that’s your goal. Your clothing choices also play a big roll in the feeling your images give people. Movement is key. This dress definitely made the list of favorite outfits I’ve photographed. Not only was it gorgeous… it was SO versatile. Keep all of this in mind when scheduling your next shoot!

Hard work deserves celebration, and something to look back on in the future. Whether it’s your fitness journey, education, business, family, or personal struggles that you’re overcoming… you deserve to be cheered for. And nobody cheers louder for you than I do in my studio (except maybe when we’re there together, hint hint).

Many people think of professional photos as a luxury, but I’m here to tell you that it’s a necessity. Because years from now, you’re going to want to look back and relive these moments, and that’s exactly what I’m here for. So whatever you’re celebrating, let’s do it together.
