I am a FAA certified private pilot and an FAA certified commercial drone pilot. Like others I have seen a lot of changes over the years and I sometimes have a hard time remembering how things were 5, 10 or 20 years ago. ce...I believe Collier county is on the cusp of expansion like no generation has ever seen. I am a for hire drone pilot... however I feel compelled to document the explosive growth we all are witnessing. The purpose of this page is kind of a running visual documentation to be viewed by the community and future generations. This page is not intended to be against of for the urban sprawl because although I enjoy having my space I also understand that my house was once an empty lot too.....In other words ...you can't complain about the urban sprawl unless you live in a tent in the woods. I am just a person that knows its coming and would like to help document it.

A few people reached out to me after I posted a short video of the Vanderbilt Beach Road Extension between 8th and Wilson and ask if I could do the entire road project...So here is part #1 of a 4 part video showing the new Vanderbilt Beach Road extension from an aerial perspective.
This project took a bit of planning and help from others in the community to help capture the footage I needed.
I am not affiliated with the Vanderbilt beach road extension nor the contractor. I am just a curious resident that happens to be a certified commercial drone pilot and wanted to share a few videos and pictures of our area in my spare time.
Note: the video was taken in 4K/30 and uploaded in 1080P. facebook compresses video so the quality in the beginning is not the best but cleans up the last 2/3 ...**Also please follow my page to see part 2 and part 3 when I post them.
