I am loving these old B&W photos of our beloved veterans. I stole this one from a friend...hope it’s ok Judy. If you are lucky enough to have a family member of the greatest generation still alive, please get their box of photos and preserve them. AND frame a few...put them out all the time or especially on our patriotic days as your decorations...these are way better than any cheesy 4th of July store bought decor. BIG NEWS PLEASE READ

I’ve always been a dreamer. I wanted to be an actress when I was a kid and my maternal grandfather said, “no, you should be a nurse”.

I’m also a pleaser, so I became a nurse, and I will never regret that because I worked alongside the most compassionate, strong, amazing women that have touched my soul so deeply. And then.... my family needed me and I needed to step back and support my husbands career but still do something that filled my soul, and that was photography. So I started Juliet Jade Photography.
I still felt the connection to others and got to express my creativity. And I met the most wonderful people on this journey as well. It’s been an amazing 12 year journey, but now my heart is leading me in a different path.

I’ve been struggling so hard to make this announcement...because of all of YOU. What I will miss most is my conversations and interactions with you. I will continue to take pictures on my own time but I will miss my clients. I truly cherish the relationships that came from Juliet Jade.

After building our Lakehouse I felt a tug toward interior design and will be shutting down Juliet Jade and making a shift into a new creative path.

I’m so eternally grateful to my clients and friends for all their love and support over the past decade. Being a part of your family and capturing snapshots of your life and your love has been such a privilege. Please print your pictures! They are your legacy and history.

I’m not leaving you hi and dry. I am surrounded by so many talented photographers that I would love to share with you. Please reach out if you would like a referral to some of my favorites that I trust.

I have a handful of clients I will be wrapping up in the next 6 months. And if anyone is looking for an interior decorator/designer please pass them my way. And thank you again for all the love and support 💕

I got to photograph one of my favorite families and their sweet new 4 legged baby. Mr. Alex had us laughing the entire time. He’s seriously one of the funniest kids I’ve ever met. It was the last of our beautiful fall weather.
