I captured this scene Oct 16, 2019, during a visit to New York. It is taken from Liberty Park, just south of the South Tower Reflecting Pool in Memorial Plaza.
I had grabbed a sandwich for lunch and walked facing away from the Plaza until I found a place to sit.
I turned around and looked up, and a moment of stillness swept over me as I observed the new WTC tower, along with its image, as if a twin completing the pair.
Never forget.
