This photoshoot is one of the reasons i love photography so much. The conditions were far from ideal, weather, atmosphere, one wouldn't think it is worth it to get the family ready and take photos in the pouring rain, a week before Christmas, when nap was delayed and babies are so little.

But when the family has so much genuine love and respect to one another, all of the above don't matter, it shines through.
The combination of the kids beauty and magic with the parents patience and team work... wow. I enjoyed every minute.

Things happen for a reason.
While editing in the busiest season of the year, a reminder from 9 years ago, long before I dared naming my passion for photography as more than a break from software development, showed up on my screen.
My mother (who took me to Paris to buy my wedding dress!), snapped this photo of me laying on the dirty Parisienne ground for a good shot.

The kids often wander off for a moment, enjoying the nature around. It has become my favorite opportunity to capture the parents... just them.
These two- I was sure they are newlyweds in their photoshoot last year, and somehow this year's session they seem even more in love...
