Grace is on the edge of what was and everything that’s about to be. ✨

As I photographed her sitting at the edge of the ocean, I couldn't help but think about my own senior son. This season is such a beautiful mix of excitement, pride, and just a little bit of wishing time would slow down.

You'd never know it by this image...but suffice it to say, the Outer Banks literally tried to blow us away during this session. Thankfully, they held onto each other (and their smiles) tightly enough to outlast the wind. Love how this turned out despite nature trying to rearrange the girl's hair!
