We just love photography and people and merging the two gives us the chance to at the young age of 15. I capture honest emotions.

Paula Player is a motivated, passionate, versatile wedding photographer living in the south and traveling worldwide to capture beautiful moments as couples celebrate life together. I was born in the city of Bogota, Colombia, and moved to the U.S. This exposed me to a variety of cultures and people. I first learned about photography thanks to my father who turned our dining room into his darkroom t

o develop images of our family. Experiences like this, helped me understand the true art of photography and shaped me to become a creative director in each one of my own photographs. I live for catching that candid moment of a genuine smile, a sensuous glance, an unashamed laugh, or pure surprise.

Some weddings stay with you long after the day is over because of the incredible people at the center of them. ❤️

JW and Blayney’s wedding was one of those days.

These two are kind, genuine, and so sweet together. Their love felt effortless, joyful, and full of warmth, allowing us to capture their story in the most natural way. We truly loved being part of their celebration.

As if that wasn’t enough, their wedding took place at one of our favorite venues and was brought to life by an amazing team of vendors who helped make every moment seamless and unforgettable.

What made this day even more meaningful was that I photographed sister’s wedding last year, so getting to celebrate with this family again was extra special.

The forecast called for rain all day, but somehow the weather had other plans. The clouds waited patiently until after the reception, giving us the most beautiful, bright, sunshine-filled South Carolina day to celebrate JW and Blayney. From their incredible first dance to the way they couldn’t stop laughing together, these two were completely in the moment all day long. Whether they were wrapped up in each other’s arms, stealing little hugs, or breaking into spontaneous dance moves, their joy was impossible to miss.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the beautiful moms out there 💐

Today I’m feeling especially thankful for my boys, who made me a mother and continue to bring so much joy to my life. Watching them grow, finding their own paths, and still having such a close relationship with them means everything to me.

I’m also incredibly thankful for my own mom, who is such an amazing woman and has always been an example of strength, love, and kindness.

Motherhood is one of life’s greatest blessings, and today I’m celebrating every beautiful part of it 🤍
