This was such a beautiful, early summer wedding. The bride and groom had their close friends and family join them for a small ceremony and celebration. When asked if I would photograph it, I nervously responded that I usually stick to family portraits and wweddings aren’t a thing I normally photograph. However, I agreed to it, even though it was out of my comfort zone, and I’m so glad I did. Congratulations Todd and Jess!

I’m loving taking photos of families and am learning that kids love the chance to be silly. So I’ll tell them “okay one more serious and then a silly one.” I might tell everyone to make a funny face or to hit a goofy pose. Between these two shots I said “okay now point to the person who might eat the most at dinner time!” Almost everyone was in agreement.
