There is something completely inconceivable about what it takes for one human to choose another. The ancient writings of proverbs say that the way of a man with a woman is "too amazing to comprehend". It is undoubtedly one of the most challenging of journey's to betrothe oneself to another - to endure the test of time but continuing to choose another day after day for the rest of life, but boy, oh boy, I don't think there is any greater blessing than finding 'the one whom your soul loves'. What an extraordinary gift.

This day was unlike any other - it is incredible that each wedding I have the honor of attending is always unparalleled. This was so special because it was the 2nd time Brian (AKA second photographer) served as the officiant - oh and what a glorious job he did!

Kevin and Haley!! I am so thrilled that you found one another. That from your first meeting you have hardly spent a day apart. That you, after all this time together, still love starting and ending each day with one another. That, Kevin you look at Haley like she is the only person in the room and, Haley you twirl like a princess under his gaze. What a beautiful family you have and we are so very honored to have been chosen to officiate and document such greatness!!! May God bless your every moment!!!

WOWSERS GUYS!!! This was the most remarkable moment for a couple reasons .... Every marriage holds a special place in my heart because each is an unparalleled moment, but something that struck me throughout the ceremony is how "holy" the Bride and Groom treated this moment. No one present except Brian and myself, the stunning sea and whipping wind ... it's as if heaven was seated and smiling with such pride! The second reason was this was Brian's very first ceremony as an officiant. WOW - the guy is so gifted.

Melanie and David, I cannot even begin to describe how much you both spoke to the deepest parts of me. Witnessing your deep love and respect for one another and the sense of honor towards this moment was so very humbling and teaching! If there was any theme, whilst the sea (seemed to) roar in celebration and the wind dancing around your beautiful faces it was the decision to choose to LOVE!!!

May God bless you both and your beautiful family all of your lives. May this new beginning bring SO MUCH goodness to all of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you for choosing us to officiate, witness and document such greatness xx

Oh my lovelies!!! Boy oh BOY this day did not disappoint!!! to witness a community of people who "live what they preach" through the generations is something so spectacular and, in this day, so very rare. The hustle and bustle and squeals of delight from the very many little nieces and nephews and cousins and sons and daughters was a sight to behold!!! It truly was a "gathering of the clan" for such glorious magnificence!!! It is always, no matter what the cause, such an honour to be a part of a celebration that is undertaken with such pure intentionality. Matt and Liza, from the very start of this day right through to the clanging of tins from behind their vehicle as they left the reception - both shows such a deep sense of respect for one another and the vows that they made to one another. All the stunning details , the food and delicious cup cakes were all "icing on the cake" - from start to finish they were the prize of it all!!!

Matt and Liza, we cannot begin to tell you both how very honored we feel to have been chosen as documenters of such an exquisite day of living. May all of your days be blessed with such goodness as you continue to choose one another xx

Oh guys. THIS DAY!!!!

Everything about this day was just spectacular but nothing could have prepared us for the speeches. The words of honour and goodness spoken over this incredible couple was just breathtaking. Barely a dry eye in the room as Conors' Dad spoke of how Amber had breathed life into Conor's whole world. They had found one another and everything changed. Isn't that just the way it is supposed to be .. we are supposed to be better together!!!

Everyone danced until the last minute - the utter joy of chatting and dancing and being together was tangible all through the day until Amber and Conor walked through the sparkler tunnel.

Guys! Thank you so very much for choosing us as documenters of your special day. We had the most delightful time celebrating and documenting your moments. Our prayer is that God would bless your every moment!

Oh my lovelies!!!! And never before did you see such a display of these words during this day of exceptional living......... You see it is not our perfections or our pristine display of humanity - but it is our willingness to show up and to continue to show up for one another, again and again. To choose one another - even when it's hard or complicated - oh the staggering depth of goodness that marriage and family brings to this earth!!!

There is an image in this sneak that took my breathe away in the moment and continues to leave me speechless. As we left the hotel room and headed to the lobby for first look with Dad we saw this really cool mirror surrounded by lights. Sara was wearing her grandmother's pearls (which I am convinced that her Gran was watching from heaven in the great cloud of witnesses) who meant so very much to her. Sara stood looking in this mirror holding her pearls and it is as if the past spoke to the present - one of choosing, one of love, one of destiny, one of goodness - a story that is still being written. Gosh I am undone as I write this. As family we get the incredible privilege to walk and journey this life with one another - passing on traditions, learning and growing. With marriage we include another family with all of their goodness and legacy and start a whole new chapter of living within the greater "book" of family and living!!! As I look at the image of Cam and Austin (his brother) coming in on the boat with their Dad I am struck by the goodness that is found in both of these families coming together as Cam and Sara start their own journey together - the inheritance of love and choosing providing such a firm foundation for their future. Cam grew up boating at this club and as the sky set on this day it told a story of such incredible depth and goodness as the deepest of orange and red glow surrounded all as they chatted and danced and celebrated. What a glorious day of living was had by all! As the night ended Cam and Sara danced as if no-one else was in the room - full of a deep sense of love and choosing that you know will last a lifetime!

If I had to sum this beautiful day up it would be "Dreams come true" ... this was a gathering of the tribe - friends and family, to witness and support and celebrate the beginning of two lives joining to make one!!! A stunning display of humanity and community surrounded by such resilient faith.

Kaylynn gave John a gift of letters she had written through their relationship - what a tremendous documentation of their journey that they can reflect on through the generations. If there is anything we can do to leave this world in a better place it is to give the next generation a road map of all that we have found that is good and all that we have found that is not good to help them avoid some of the fallings and embrace some of the goodness. Just wow!!!

From start to finish these two were surrounded by their people. such as reminder and an exhortation to continue to build strong bonds with the humans we do life with. To celebrate on the mountaintops and support through the valleys of life.

As I undertake the almost impossible task of choosing moments for this sneak peek, once again I am completely overwhelmed with the utter goodness of these humans and this day!!! Sam and Jack found one another 5 years ago and have not wanted to do another day without the other. What a remarkable pairing of humans and what a completely PHENOMINAL crew that surrounds them. From work colleagues, to childhood friends to siblings - most of this wedding party flew down to Florida to celebrate these two. Just wow!!!

Whilst walking to the first look with the Bride and her Dad, Kurk (Sam’s Dad) asked if I was from South Africa .. when I said I was from Zimbabwe he stopped in his tracks and said “Your’e from Zim!!” … just wow!!! Only Zims speak like that. So right from the start it felt like I was documenting family! Sams dad gifted her a signed portrait of the band, Queen … and those two did not disappoint for the Father/Daughter dance … their love of Rock Concerts was on full display. What utter joy!!!

The Jasmine arch - always such a treat is almost in bloom and provided the most exquisite entrance for this entire crew. Everyone showed up from start to the final exit - which was only a pathway to the cottage where everyone gathered for an after party to continue to laugh and dance and celebrate and connect!!! Chapel Creek Events has a huge Love sign which lights up at night. I have never been more keenly aware of that sign - it’s as if it was woven in every moment .. and when Uncle Mark prayed for dinner and spoke words of affirmation and choosing over the couple - he spoke of Corinthians - the love chapter. It’s as if that love sign shone a little brighter on this beautiful evening!

Sam and Jack - from our very first conversation I loved you both!!! Thank you, with everything in me, for choosing us as documenters of your, most exquisite, day. It will go down in the books as one of our top days!!! You guys are incredible individuals who make the most wonderful couple. May God bless your every moment.
