Hi! It's been a minute... But I wanted to give you all an update. In January of 2024 I decided I would take a step back from the amount of photography work I was going to take. To be honest I was getting incredibly burnt out and having terrible anxiety issues, not to mention I was working non-stop. I could feel it and worse my family could feel it. I decided to not push photography as much and focus on our little family. I got a full time job working as a travel agent for a corporate owned travel agent, I was working weird call center schedules but has so much more time with my family. Then in June we got the surprise of our life. After over 6 years of dealing with infertility we got pregnant naturally... then in August we got even bigger life changing news. Our miracle pregnancy was with twins! After sharing with friends and family we moved forward with the pregnancy. It was very high risk from the start and it was scary, but we were so excited. Then on October 30th our lives changed again. We went in for the anatomy scan and to find out genders, but discovered that one of our sweet babies no longer had a heart beat. It was devastating. We found out that it was 2 girls and that one of them had developed a cord injury between 19 and 20 weeks. From then out I was pretty much on modified bed rest to ensure that our healthy baby stayed in as long as possible. We made it to 36 weeks and Miss Dovie decided she wanted to come a week before our scheduled c-section. She is happy, healthy and so so loved.
So now I am sharing all of this with you. I haven't been in the best mental space since losing our other baby, Caroline. But I am starting to get back to normal and feel like I am getting better metal health wise.
And.... I am ready to jump back into photography a little. This will be limited spots and I will likely never go back to the amount I was doing before. But I have had a few people reach out and I am happy to say that I will be opening my schedule for a select amount of full family, senior and couples sessions, and will have a few dates for minis, and I will be offering Santa Minis again with more limited availability.
