As many of you know I have been working at Pound Buddies for over a year now. Although I love my work as a photographer, it is through my work with shelter animals that I have found my purpose. For the last year I have juggled both my shelter work and photography which has made it difficult to find balance. I have decided that the best thing for me and my family is to narrow my focus and for now that means I will continue with my work for Pound Buddies. Effective today I will no longer be offering photography services. Thank you so much for your business, support and friendships during this chapter of my life.

This adorable senior (7-8yrs old) cattle dog boxer mix is looking for her fur-ever home. Shelby has been with us at Pound Buddies for too many months. She needs to spend her last years in a loving home. Shes very laid back, quiet, clean and loving. Shes a great listener as well. Dont make her spend her christmas all dressed up with no where to go.

Photo Novelas is happy to be a part of the 2015 Pound Buddies calendar. Enjoy monthly photos of some of our shelter dogs and cats. Proceeds will go towards rabies vaccinations and other needs for our adoptable dogs and cats. If you are looking for an older dog, lower energy but still a complete love bug please go check out Shelby (w2c22) at Pound Buddies. Shes looking for her furever home. She has been in the shelter since Aug and thats way too long to be without a family to cuddle with every night.

The holidays are coming up and I know everyone is shopping for family and friends but please don't forget about our furry friends. They depend on us for every little thing. Photo Novelas has gone through some big transitions this year. First of all we are mobile again. Having a studio was a fun experiment and it was convenient at times but it just wasn't my style as I prefer to shoot outside and at venues that have a personal connection for my clients.

Also, as many of you know I have been working with Pound Buddies for some time taking photos of their adoptable dogs and more recently helping with fundraising and with care of the animals. This new venture with Pound Buddies means I have had to limit my photo session schedule to 1-2 per week and my turnaround time for edited photos is about a week longer.

Thank you Thank you Thank you for letting me photograph your beautiful lives in 2014. We're looking forward to what the new year might bring!
