It's truly an honor to be able to capture such precious memories from weddings, to new parents bringing home their baby for the first time! But that is not all I photograph! Graduation is a special time for a high school senior, so you can find me documenting that accomplishment too! You can find me taking education classes, workshops and tutorials to always bring something new to my business each year! I'm truly bless to call this my job each day! Reserving your due date on my calendar is of upmost importance! It’s the only way I can guarantee that I can get you in after baby comes! And even more so if you want an in home newborn session, I only take one of those a month!

We spent the morning at Wilson’s Apple Orchard in Iowa City, and whew, it was a HOT one!But that didn’t stop us from having the best time exploring the farm and picking fresh raspberries together.

Capturing the Willows family year after year is one of my greatest joys. Jess was the very first client to say, “Let’s make this an experience,” instead of just a photo session.

Every year since, we’ve planned something fun that reflects their family in this season of life. And guess what? We already have next year’s adventure planned, and I can’t wait!

This is exactly why I love storytelling sessions. They’re about so much more than smiling at the camera. They’re about preserving the laughter, the adventures, the traditions, and the little moments that make your family uniquely yours.

I’m beginning to think that Blue is the color of the season! It’s one of the most requested colors!

Sometimes moms leave thinking that we got no images of their children, smiling. Trusting me and the process is key!

Even though Miss sassy pants was grumpy for a majority of the session, we did still get some smile! It’s the tiny detail details and memories that you never want to forget.
