Hello everyone! My name is Kara Additon and I’m a Portrait and Wedding Photographer based out of Murrieta, California.

I picked up my first camera at the age of 12 (19 years ago) and since then, I’ve been published a few times, was a photojournalist in the Air Force for several years, and have traveled all over the country for a variety of clients and adventures.

I moved here from Houston, Texas, three years ago and struggled to find my place for a while. I didn’t want to start over with my photography business in a new state, so I decided to stop. I’ve finally found my permanent place here and I miss my camera, so I’m ready to come back!

I have a wide variety of experience ranging from family portraits to newborn sessions to weddings. There really isn’t a session I’m incapable of perfecting for you!

All of my sessions begin at $400 and with that price comes an online digital gallery with high-resolution images that are free to download and will never expire! I’m trigger happy so you get back a TON of images, all different, edited, and perfect for your walls!

I’m not yet familiar with locations to photograph at around here, so suggestions are always welcome! I also work full-time in San Diego as a Network Engineer so weekends are better for me for the time being.
