Approximately 5:40pm on 1.29 Murrieta Fire & Rescue received reports of a vehicle fire on Cal oaks in the parking lot of Albertsons. Engine 3 and Truck 2 were dispatched to the scene, Truck 2 arriving first on scene reported a fully involved vehicle. The crew on Truck 2 pulled their attack line and went to work. Engine 3 was canceled before arriving and Murrieta Medic patrol 2 was in the area and came to assist along with Murrieta Police Department for traffic control.
No injuries to Fire personnel or the driver. The fire was quickly knocked down and mop up started.

Murrieta Fire & Rescue along with Riverside county fire and copter 301 from Hemet-Ryan Air base responded to a vegetation fire between John Wayne Rd and Hayes Ave. in Murrieta.non injury to either Fire personal or civilians. 1 small storage shed was lost but no main structures. 11 total acres were burned.
