Denton has a way of holding onto people.

For Elaina and Brady, it was the Square, where some of their earliest dates happened, where they were younger and figuring each other out. When Elaina described her vision for their engagement session, she said she wanted to freeze Denton exactly how it felt when they were young and in love. We ended the night at Beth Marie's, one of their favorite spots, and it felt like the most natural thing in the world.

Denton is also where this business was born. So there's something full-circle about these photos existing at all.

We meet up because you're engaged and because this season deserves to be documented. But somewhere around fifteen minutes in, once I've observed how you two read off each other, once the dynamic starts to click — that's when it shifts.

You stop thinking about where to put your hands and start just being with each other. And that's when we strike gold. That's when the real YOU pops out in the photos.

Engagement photos were never really about posing. They're about preserving exactly who you two are right now, in this specific chapter, before everything changes.

After years of going wherever the military sent us, Jake and I are FINALLY coming home to Texas!!!!

This isn't just a business transition for me. It's a life one. A slower pace. A place that is actually ours. In our home state. On. our. terms.

I'll be back this fall and officially booking 2027 Texas weddings, and I am SOO ready to show up for couples who want something real, intentional, and completely theirs.
