For the life of me I can not remember where I took this photo of the elk in front of the red school house. My image location isn't working properly. Does anyone have any idea where this school house is located. I want to say somewhere in Idaho, but it could be in Oregon, Washington or California. Either way it was quite the sight to see them all in the yard with the flag flying high.

They say it's some of the freshest, cleanest, ice cold water in the world. Elmers Fountain sits in the Northern Panhandle of Idaho along the Montana border. It has its own exit and is made of mining parts. Just another thing I love about Idaho, its clean water, mountains, forests, and history.

Storms rolling over green hills in central Idaho as we take in the views from The White Bird Summit.

in 1980 Mt. St. Helens erupted and created this lava covered river bed known as The Muddy River. You can see the crevice in which her lava flowed down, wiping out everything in her path. This river is still covered in ash to this day. I have to say it was a little eerie sleeping on Mt. St. Helens, and maybe it's just because I know what she is capable of. Yet surrounding her is one of the most beautiful forests I have ever seen. Full of life, green moss, banana slugs, and endless flora and fauna.
