Love is the best thing about humanity, and when you look close enough it’s at the root of nearly all of our greatest accomplishments. That is the core of my photography, and I try to keep it at the core of who I am as a person.

I've been working with Amanda and the Georgia Mountain Storytelling Festival for over a decade, and she's fabulous! Congratulations!!

We would like to take a moment to congratulate our dear friend and wonderful director of the Georgia Mountain Storytelling Festival, Amanda Lawrence! She is the 2026 recipient of the prestigious J.J. Reneaux Emerging Artist Award from the National Storytelling Network!

We've been partnering with the storytelling festival actively for the last few years and we look forward to expanding that cooperation in 2026!

The talent in our region is a constant source of joy and inspiration. We hope to have Amanda back for a storytelling event soon - in the meantime, we hope you'll seek out a performance to attend, and if you see Amanda, tell her great job!
