1 - An oldie but a goodie. This is a Carolina Mantis hanging out in an elderberry bush.
2 - iPhone photo of Chinese Mantids hatching from an egg case (ootheca) a few springs ago. Around 10% of these guys will make it into adulthood.
3 - A Chinese Mantis egg case I found in the woods the other day.

It’s safe to say 2025 has been my favorite year so far.
A year full of dreams coming true! This set of photos is only a glimpse into the year I’ve been lucky enough to have.

Some highlights:
- Yellowstone + Cyprus adventures with my dad!
- Home to England for Christmas and my 30th with family.
- Working for Wildlife Warriors / Steve Irwin Foundation in Las Vegas.
- Becoming a dual citizen. (Which gives me more freedom).
- Photographing at the Ryman + so many of my favorite bands.
- Photographing countless inspiring people.
- Jumping back into old hobbies, lots of bestie adventures, weekly art nights, and a new home.

So grateful for everyone who made this year so special. 💛

Just wrapped up photographing 2026’s Hometown Healing edition of Good News Magazine. I witnessed moments this month that reminded me just how intense, skilled, and selfless our healthcare workers really are. We may be past the pandemic, but we should always thank our healthcare heroes!
