Sam & Justine Baby Shower- Part 2:This past Saturday was a memorable day as I had the wonderful opportunity to capture the joyous occasion of Sam and Justine Gordner’s baby shower at First Baptist Church, held in our cozy Sunday school room. Surrounded by the love and excitement of their family and a few close friends, the atmosphere was intimate and heartwarming. Despite the small gathering, the warmth and happiness radiated throughout the room, creating a special and welcoming ambiance for the parents-to-be. As I documented the event, I couldn’t help but feel the sense of anticipation and love that filled the air, embodying the beauty of new beginnings and the celebration of life.
The joy and love that enveloped the baby shower were truly infectious, making it a memorable and touching occasion for everyone present. It was heartening to see the support and happiness shared among family members and friends as they celebrated the upcoming arrival of the Gordner’s baby. This past Saturday was such a sweet and special day celebrating Sam and Justine Gordner at their baby shower. This past Wednesday on Christmas Eve, I had the privilege of taking photos during the Christmas Eve service at First Baptist Church of Enterprise. It was one of those nights where everything just felt special—the music, the message, the candlelight, and the way the room was filled with peace and joy. Being behind the camera gave me a unique perspective, getting to capture not just moments, but the spirit of the service itself. It truly was an amazing night of worship, reflection, and celebrating the hope of Christmas. Grateful to be part of a church that makes moments like this so meaningful. ✨🎄

12*1*2025- Yesterday, I had the privilege of doing a Christmas photoshoot for Trent and Aspen Weller, and it was such a fun and meaningful experience capturing their holiday joy. They were incredibly kind and appreciative, and as a thank-you for taking their pictures, they took me out to dinner afterward. It turned a simple photoshoot into a memorable evening filled with good conversation, laughter, and the warm feeling of being valued for something I love doing.

This weekend reminded me that “the best view comes after the hardest climb.” Every step up those mountain trails was worth it the moment we reached the top and looked out over the endless ridges. There was something peaceful and grounding about standing there with “sky above, earth below, peace within,” taking in the quiet beauty around us. It was one of those moments that made all the effort fade away, leaving only gratitude, awe, and the calm that comes from being surrounded by God’s creation.

As the celebration continued, Michaela and Jacob began opening the sweet and thoughtful gifts that family and friends had brought for their little one. From tiny socks to cozy blankets and adorable onesies, each present felt like a glimpse into the soon-to-arrive baby’s world. You could see the love and excitement in their eyes as they unwrapped each gift, embracing the joy of this new chapter ahead.

Meanwhile, I had the privilege of capturing every bit of that joy through my camera. I focused on their reactions, the warm hugs, and the little details that make these memories last forever. There’s something so meaningful about photographing moments that can’t be repeated—the expressions, the atmosphere, the shared love in the room. I’m just grateful to have been there, not only to celebrate with them but to help preserve these memories so they can look back and remember how surrounded by love they were on this beautiful day.

10•19•2025— This past Sunday night, I had the opportunity to take pictures of the decorations in the fellowship hall for Pastor Ben’s 10th-year anniversary celebration at First Baptist Church here in Enterprise. The hall looked beautiful and full of meaning—every detail was thoughtfully put together to honor his years of faithful service and leadership. The decorations reflected both elegance and warmth, with touches that highlighted the love and appreciation the church family has for him.

As I captured the photos, I could feel the joy and gratitude in the air. It wasn’t just about the milestone—it was about celebrating a decade of guidance, encouragement, and community that Pastor Ben helped build. Seeing everyone come together for such a special occasion reminded me how strong and connected our church family truly is. It was a privilege to help document such a memorable evening.

10•04•2025— This past Saturday afternoon, I had the opportunity to do a fun little photoshoot at the Dothan Botanical Gardens. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect — cloudy skies that created the soft, even lighting every photographer dreams of. The gardens were peaceful, filled with lush greenery and vibrant flowers that made for beautiful backdrops. But what made the experience even better was working with Matthew and Maddie. They were amazing to photograph — full of laughter, easygoing, and completely natural in front of the camera. Their genuine connection made every shot feel effortless and full of life.

What made this shoot extra special was the story behind our friendship. I’ve known Matthew and Maddie since the very beginning — and by that, I mean from the very first time I went to Bible study at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Not long after that, I joined them for another study at Dr. Mike’s house, and that soon became my regular spot. From there, the rest was history. It’s been such a blessing to grow in faith and friendship with them over time, and getting to capture their joy through photography felt like everything came full circle in the best way.
