There are some wedding days that just stay with you. 🤍
May 30 was one of those days.
I photographed this beautiful wedding at 34 weeks pregnant, just days before stepping away for maternity leave. Looking back at these images now, I’m reminded of just how incredibly special this day was. The emotion, the happy tears, the quiet moments, the big ones, and all of the little in-between moments that make a wedding day theirs.
And while I was there to document their day, I’ll never forget how much their families made sure I was taken care of, too. They checked on me, made sure I was comfortable, kept me fed and hydrated, and somehow made me feel like part of the family while I was there. 🥹
To this couple and both of your families — thank you for trusting me with such an important day, especially during such a special season of my own life. It meant more than you probably realized.
I’m finally getting around to sharing this wedding, and I couldn’t think of a better one to come back with. 🤍
