A little reminder that your baby doesn’t have to be brand new to have those sweet newborn memories captured. 🤍

This sweet family welcomed me into their home and nursery when their little one was one month old, and it was such a sweet reminder of why I love in-home sessions.

Your baby doesn’t have to be freshly home from the hospital, perfectly sleepy, or curled up in a tiny little pose for your photos to be beautiful. It’s okay if they’re awake, looking around, stretching, making faces, or wanting to be held the entire time.

We’re not chasing perfect poses or a perfectly sleepy baby. We’re capturing your family, your home, and this little season exactly as it is.

And if you think you’ve missed the newborn window, you haven’t. 🤍

There are some wedding days that just stay with you. 🤍

May 30 was one of those days.

I photographed this beautiful wedding at 34 weeks pregnant, just days before stepping away for maternity leave. Looking back at these images now, I’m reminded of just how incredibly special this day was. The emotion, the happy tears, the quiet moments, the big ones, and all of the little in-between moments that make a wedding day theirs.

And while I was there to document their day, I’ll never forget how much their families made sure I was taken care of, too. They checked on me, made sure I was comfortable, kept me fed and hydrated, and somehow made me feel like part of the family while I was there. 🥹

To this couple and both of your families — thank you for trusting me with such an important day, especially during such a special season of my own life. It meant more than you probably realized.

I’m finally getting around to sharing this wedding, and I couldn’t think of a better one to come back with. 🤍

So many beautiful memories. So much emotion. And a gallery that I could look through over and over again.

Some weddings are worth the wait and this one held a year’s worth of love, anticipation, and the sweetest new beginning.

When we first talked about their wedding day, life had a beautiful surprise in store. Plans shifted, timelines stretched, and what was once “next season” became a whole new chapter later. And somehow, it made everything even more meaningful.

By the time this day arrived, it wasn’t just about two people promising forever, it was about the life they had already started building together. Every glance, every laugh, every quiet in-between moment carried that depth. You could feel it in the way they held each other, in the joy surrounding them, in the softness of a day that didn’t need to be big to be unforgettable.
It was intimate, intentional, and full of heart - the kind of wedding that reminds you what this is all about.

I adore these two and the story they’re writing together. What a gift it was to witness it all unfold, exactly as it was meant to.
