With 28 incredible souls gathering from near and far (shoutout to our friends trekking all the way from Maine), the energy was electric, full of hard work, laughter, stories, and those unforgettable connections that make this event legendary.

Beyond the posed moments and celebrations, there's a unique beauty in the candid shots from rank testing at the 2025 OSMKKF Gasshuku in Colorado Springs last weekend. 🥋

It was truly incredible to observe and capture the intense focus, the deep breaths before a kata, the grit in every technique, and the raw determination etched on faces during these challenging moments. These unscripted moments truly show the dedication and spirit of each martial artist on their journey. I feel so privileged to have been there to document the very essence of their hard work.

What an absolutely incredible time capturing the heart of our karate family at the 2025 OSMKKF Gasshuku in Colorado Springs last weekend! While the individual promotions were powerful, these group photos truly show the collective spirit, dedication, and camaraderie that make our community so special.

It was amazing to see everyone united, having traveled all the way to Colorado to not only train but also support their karate family! The unwavering support made the atmosphere electric and truly showcased the strength of our bonds. These are the moments that build us up, and I'm so grateful I could preserve them through my lens. A huge thank you to every single person who made the journey and makes our federation such an inspiring place to train!

What an incredible weekend in Colorado Springs! A massive congratulations to everyone who earned new ranks at the 2025 OSMKKF Gasshuku. It was truly inspiring to witness the culmination of so much hard work, discipline, and passion on display.

From the intense focus during tests to the pure joy of receiving new belts, every moment was a testament to the dedication of these martial artists, and it was an honor to capture these powerful moments through my lens.

This past weekend, I had the honor of attending and capturing moments from the 23rd Annual Winter Tuite Camp at the Athens Karate School, hosted by the esteemed John Shipes Hanshi. It was an incredible gathering of dedicated martial artists from five states and nine schools, all part of the OSMKKF family.

📸 From intense training sessions to celebratory rank promotions, it was a weekend filled with hard work, camaraderie, and achievement. Special thanks to Steve Apsega, Renshi and Tim Amey, Renshi, for helping to lead the weekend's training and sharing their expertise. Congratulations to everyone who earned their next rank, especially Mr Hank Kiser, who achieved full instructor certification—what a remarkable milestone!

It’s always humbling to witness and document such dedication to the art. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event so memorable.
