Proposals are literally my favorite thing to photograph. I'm pretty sure I'm just as nervous as the person asking. I arrive pretty early, hide and wait. Most times I'm eaten alive by our state bird, the skeeter, or by black flies. I definitely end up with sand EVERYWHERE. My heart is racing the entire time. It's all so exciting and wonderful to watch unfold. Every story is different, every way the proposal happens is different, and every reaction is different. But in the end I get to pop out of the bushes like a crazy person and yell "CONGRATULATIONS!" It's truly fantastic
