Hi friends!
I’ve been asked, “what Covid Precautions are you taking to help keep your clients and family safe?”
Firstly, I don’t care what your personal opinion on the matter is. I’m not here to judge those that differ from mine. I am not making a political statement or chastising anyone whose choices are different. There will be zero debate on my page. I am simply answering the question. Period.
Secondly, to answer the question:
My entire household is vaccinated. Two of the five of us work outside our home and wear masks while doing so as their employers require such. None of us are medical professionals and these choices are choices we decided to make based upon our family’s needs. As some of you may recall, the very day we went into our soft lockdown in 2020 was also the day my husband was sepsis from diverticulitis and spent the next two weeks in the hospital on various IV antibiotics. His immune system is just now back to normal. Not that I feel the need to explain. Our choices are ours, just as your choices are yours.
If I can get whatever I need delivered or scheduled for pickup, that’s what I do. As a person with cptsd who is not neurotypical, I naturally avoid most crowds. I loathe shopping in general so if I can avoid a store, I will - pandemic or not. However, there are times when I need to hunt an item down or there just aren’t pickup/delivery options when I need them. I *like* being at home even sans pandemic.
My studio is sanitized before and after every client. I have hand sanitizer and there is a sink for hand washing. I do not typically wear a mask while actively shooting, but am not opposed to wearing one should a client feel more comfortable if I do so. If you’d like me to wear a mask, I can do that. Just ask. 🙂
No. I have not had Covid. Nor has anyone in my household. My eldest child tested positive upon admittance to the hospital in July 2021 but tested negative a few days later. He was “asymptomatic” and medical professionals believe he had a false positive. I’m not a medical professional, therefore my personal opinion isn’t needed here.
If anyone has any further questions concerning safety, just ask.
Thanks!
Bobbi 🖤
