When you’re short you need all the length you can get in your poses and so, sometimes, some poses need to be adapted. I love that she crossed her limbs in this way but my body just can’t quite do it and still look long.

If you haven’t grabbed my video, what are you waiting for? comment POSE and grab it! 😉

For the longest time in my life, I took myself so seriously! Like, I was the kid who didn’t try new things or was afraid of being silly because I believed that I had to be perfect!
One time, I was on a date and the boy told me I was funny… I never went out with him again. 😆 I didn’t want to be funny! I’m so glad I’m a recovering perfectionist!

The best therapy I found in my life has been the camera!
This powerful little gadget has taught me to see life, the world and myself in a new way! I cannot describe it to you, but if you have one and use it constantly, I don’t have to describe it to you, you already know!

So, now, I don’t take myself too seriously, as you can tell, and I’m not afraid of posting this on the internet, it’s okay to be normal and I’m actually going to brag for a second!

I’ve always been of fine hair, like very fine but through my younger years, I had super curly hair and it looked like I had a lot of hair… nope.

And now, through hormone changes, I lost the hair and had literal holes in my scalp, but, I started using minoxidil about 6 months ago and this is all new hair!! 😜

Therapy for me right now, looks like seeing myself every day, literally.
I’m going through midlife and it feels physically challenging so I want to make sure I keep an eye on it, or two or three if we count my camera! 😉

Have you experienced this type of therapy? Do tell! 😉

It’s not about the session and it’s not about the timing, it’s about the sentence that almost always follows:

“I’m still working on myself”

which usually means I need to lose weight.

(and yes, it’s not always the weight, there are other “reasons” like skin, wrinkles, teeth, etc)

But all it means is that you don’t believe you’re worthy of being seen as you are right now.

You’re always looking to a future version that will be better, will have it all together and be beautiful, skinny and perfect…

But she never comes… How do I know?

I tried!

For the longest time I tried and it’s not that I gave up, it’s that I learned that loving the present woman and letting her be visible as she is, has brought me more peace, self acceptance and life enjoyment than being skinny for a few months ever did!

And when I reached a certain level of skinny, I would say, I’m almost there! I need to lose 10 more lbs! Then I’ll be perfect and love myself!

I’m not saying give up your efforts of accomplishing your health goals, I’m saying, accept who you are right now and what you look like and the easier it will be to get to your desired goals, from self acceptance and self love than from self rejection.

Still friends? I hope so! I want you to be everything you want to be and know that it will come faster as you work with you and not a nonexistent romanticized version of you. ❤️

I JUST got back from NYC!

And let me tell you! I’m so grateful for the AMAZING people I got to work with while there!!

Shoutout to Charles Chessler for letting me shoot in his space and for the amazing time we spent together!

My super sweet and fun client here who you can’t see but I adore is one of those people I connected with instantly and I hope we get to be friends for a long time!

This will be one of the biggest blessings this Instagram journey has brought to my life! Amazing people who I want to call friends forever!

And if we’re not friends yet, what are you waiting for, I can’t wait to brainwash you too! 😉

I know I’ve said this a lot lately but… I’m telling you, every woman needs to know this so she can make a conscious decision! 😜

I’m so glad to know so many of you are practicing and getting it right! 😉
