The bittersweet emotions. Excited, sad, nostalgic! I remember it all too well and I’m so grateful I get to capture these emotions for some special families.

Before telling your love stories….there was ours. Two kids who met at a track meet, now married with two kids of their own. 12 years dating and 5 years married. Happy 12th and 5th anniversary to the guy who carries the binder, reaches the perfect spots to hang your dress and keeps your wedding day on track!

The Story of Invisible Strings 🧵❤️

Some people meet loudly like fireworks. Fate crashing through the front door. And some people meet quietly, across crowded rooms or between library shelves. They meet in almost-glances and almost-touches, almost like a story being written long before either of them knew how it would end.

This session was inspired by the feeling of the “Invisible String”, the idea that two people can move through life completely unaware they’re already being pulled toward each other. That two people are connected in life even before they meet, attached by a proverbial string. It’s the missed moments, the parallel paths, and the tension right before you meet your person.

I wanted these images to feel cinematic and nostalgic, like pages from a love story that already existed somewhere before it was lived.
