Calling all local photographers.

Summer has started and it is time to get the camera out and take some photographs. Now is the time to start thinking about entering the Mulvane Old Settlers Photography Contest. It will be held again using the same categories and prizes as last year. The rules and entry forms are available on the MOS website here: Mulvane Old Settlers

The main change for this year is all photos entered need to have SOME TYPE OF FRAMING. They need to be turned in READY TO HANG for display using a sawtooth hanger or D-Rings with wire. Please IM me if you have questions or need advice on how to do this.

For the next few weeks, I am offering assistance for anybody that would like to understand the photography judging process, how to make your photos better, or just learn a little more about photography. I am local a local photographer and always interested in meeting other photographers. The best way to reach me is by email at [email protected] or Facebook message me.

With all of the summer vacations, sports and other activities coming up, I hope everybody gets out and take a few photos and can enter this year’s competition.

P.S. The Wichita Area Camera Club will have a photography exhibit at Mark Arts (13th and Rock Road) in July if you wish to see examples of good local photography.
