The gal behind the camera πΈβ¨
I've been doing this for over 10 years.
I'm a believer in Jesus Christ. I am a wife, and a mom of three. I want everyone to be happy and to feel seen. We homeschool, and somehow I still get super excited for a spontaneous, unplanned photoshoot. π€
I'm the one pulling over on the side of the road because the light is too pretty not to notice. The one who gets way too excited about blue hour and a perfectly overcast day. The way the light filters through the trees. The one who overthinks and overanalyzes whether I'm good enough, but still comes home from sessions excited to get the photos on my computer because I'm already looking forward to bringing the gallery to life.
Photography is something I genuinely love, but that doesn't mean it hasn't had its moments where I've wanted to throw in the towel. Yet, here I am, still creating.
I love meeting new people, hearing your stories, chasing wild toddlers, fixing flyaway hairs, making awkward moments and serious-faced husbands laugh, and capturing the moments you didn't even realize were happening.
When you book with me, you're getting someone who truly cares. I may look a mess π
but thats just because I never know what I may need to do to get thst shot. I want your session to feel relaxed, fun, and stress-free, as if we've known each other for years. I'm not afraid to do whatever it takes to get the shot, and I'm not afraid to step outside of tradition to create something unique and meaningful.
And since we're being honest... I'm probably going to overshare a little, tell you how amazing the light looks at least 27 times, remind you how beautiful you are, and say, "just one more shot" while taking 10 more. π
The editing side is just as important to me and I am always looking for ways to grow every image you receive is carefully chosen and edited by me. My editing style is a big part of my work and something I've spent years developing. It's what helps tell your story the way I see it through my lens. So when a heavy filter gets added afterward, it can be a little heartbreaking because so much time, care, and intention went into creating the final image received. But at the end of the day, I know there are a lot of photographers to choose from. If my work and style speaks to you.
I would be honored to capture your memories. If not, that's okay too. I truly hope you find someone whose style feels like the perfect fit.
Thank you to every client who has trusted me over the years. Your support allows me to do what I love, and I'll never take that for granted. π€
Now tell me how long have you been following along? Are you an OG client, or are we new friends? π
