Kristin was born in King County and raised in Skagit County, Washington. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest Kristin grew to love the “Great Outdoors.” She learned to ski and rock climb as soon as she could walk, spending almost every weekend outdoors. By the time she was 10 Kristin received her first disposable camera for a family road trip to Wisconsin. While traveling across America she capt
ured her first images of Devil’s Tower, the Badlands and Yellowstone Park. Throughout high school and community college Kristin took several photography classes, which only deepened her love for the art. After moving to Indiana, Kristin began earning her AAS in Photographic Studies at Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, IL. In August of 2012 Kristin graduated from PSC with a Certificate in Photography and a Certificate in Portrait Photography. While at PSC Kristin was the President of Photo Society for 2 years and Vice President for 1 and has worked as both a writer and a photographer for the Student Review. In 2011, Kristin participated in the Photographer of the Year show, the Illinois Skyway Juried Art Competition (Certificate of Recognition) and in 2009 she participated in the Illinois Community College Juried Art Exhibit (Certificate of Achievement). As a photographer, my goal is to capture the little moments before they slip past us, whether it is baby's first breath, true love's kiss or any of the moments between, let me help you preserve those memories.
