Raven Photography Raven Photography is based in beautiful Mount Shasta California. I remember reading the Magazines front to back always in awe of the Talent in the Photography.

The Passion for Natural Photography was planted in at a young age, I watched and read National Geographic as a child. My mission is to keep Photography raw and Natural as possible. I'm not a believer in editing. but on occasion I may use lightening or Darkening to preserve to the picture, I'm concentrating on my personal hobby, not offering photoshoots

I'm content with the decision to stop doing people photography, I started dabbling in picture taking 10 years ago, once I made my page, I was getting so many requests to do portraits that I dove into it, forgetting my original inspiration, nature. I kept on even though it really wasn't what I wanted. What I loved most was the appreciation of each client, I thoroughly loved the smiles and encouragement.

But it still wasn't what I wanted and my last gig set in stone my personal reasoning. There are many talented photographers in this little county of ours, but the competitive ugliness I experienced is the one thing I have ZERO desire to be associated with. What happened I would never fathom doing to another person, but I did my job with a smile anyway on top of being sick.

Looking on to the future, I'll be focused on my original inspiration. I've sold all of my portrait equipment and props and look forward to getting back to nature and a camera upgrade! As always, keeping my work as natural as possible, it's a dying art!
