Sharing my photography to show forth the beauty of God's creation, as well as sharing my Contemporary Fluid and Textured Acrylic Art!

DM me if you're interested in purchasing a piece! Or come to my art events in the Chicago area! =) Lord willing, in the spring I will be selling my inspirational photography as well as my acrylic art at craft fairs and art shows in the northwest suburbs of the Chicago area and will be announcing details as the spring season draws closer. If you see a painting or a photograph that you are interested in purchasing, please message me. At this point I accept cash only; no checks or credit cards, etc. If you see a photo that you like and would like me to add a specific Bible verse to it I can do that for you, as well. I would be happy to make a painting specifically for you in the colors and style that you would like too, so please keep that in mind. :) I can create: Swipes, Ring Pours, Flip Cups, and String Pulls. I am working on my Dutch Pours, but have one example on my page as an example. Prices range from $20.00 for a 9x12 - $70.00 or more, depending on the size of the canvas, amount of paint used, length of time that it takes to create, and additional supplies used to create a particular painting, such as glitter, embellishments, vinyl decals (swans, hearts, butterflies), etc. I will also be creating an inspirational line in which I will be adding Scriptures or phrases, such as: Amazing Grace, hope, love, joy, peace, Trust God, He is my Rock, etc., to either the front of the paintings or the backs of them. I am also starting to create some modern abstract paintings as well as multi-layered paintings using a catalyst wedge to create sheer, vibrant, -- as well as pastel -- veils of colored layers! Each painting is a one of a kind; they never turn out exactly the same as the ones that you may see posted here. Each painting is also numbered and signed. Thank you very much for stopping by today! God Bless You

Four weeks from today begins Palatine Township Senior Center's Winter Wonderland! An exciting holiday event that features baked goods, gift baskets, jewelry, purses, and so much more!!

At my table I will be featuring some of my final supply of large crystal teardrop sun-catchers, jewelry that I semi-created by incorporating discs of the prettiest portions of the non-toxic acrylic paint (that dries on my art table after creating some of my fluid acrylic paintings) into pendants, bracelets, and earrings which I then seal under clear glass cabochons. Each pendant comes with an 18 inch stainless steel chain that has a high quality lobster claw clasp. The earring settings are also made of stainless steel.

Whether individually, or in sets, well over 60 of these pendants with stainless steel chains have been sold! If you are interested in any of these unique one-of-a-kind jewelry items for yourself, or as a gift for your Mom, sister, or friend, please consider stopping by my table at this wonderful holiday event because after these sell out, I will no longer be making them. The same goes for my very popular crystal teardrop sun-catchers.

I will also be featuring magnets that I created using the prettiest portions of the non-toxic acrylic paint that dried on my art table after creating some of my fluid art paintings, as well as mini versions of some of my artwork and photography in magnet form.

I hope to see some of you there!😊

#148 'Shimmering Glimmer of Hope'

Created this painting in Jan. of '26.

Story behind the painting:

When a new year begins, some of us choose to leave behind the disappointments and heartaches of the previous year, and instead are filled with hope and excitement and look at it as a new beginning. Others are filled with anxiety and fear pondering what events the upcoming year may hold.

In this new painting, which I have entitled, 'Shimmering Glimmer of Hope,' you will see a multi-dimensional foggy/misty background framed by a highly textured dark gray border which symbolizes the entryway to the New Year. This border was created to pull the viewer's eyes into the dark and light shades of gray and deep silver which represents the unknown.

The horizon line was created with a deep gray, but it was enhanced with sparkling silver leafing and glitter to add light and a sense of hope and excitement as one looks ahead to the unknown events of the New Year. The rough and rugged lower portion represents the trials and difficult times one faces in life. None of us knows what the future may hold, but if you know the One who holds the future, you have nothing to fear.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

Canvas info: 22x28 inch Gallery Wrapped triple-primed with acid-free gesso.
