These are the same two puppies my son found just six weeks ago — abandoned in the middle of nowhere like their lives didn’t matter. When he picked them up, they were skin and bones, crawling with fleas, and fighting off hookworms and roundworms. They were exhausted, hungry, and trying so hard just to survive.

And look at them now.

They’ve gained 11 and 13 pounds, their little bodies finally free of worms, and they’re almost fully vaccinated. Their eyes are brighter, their bellies are full, and their tails never stop wagging. They are safe. They are loved. They are home.

They will never again shiver in below‑freezing temperatures.
They will never again have to eat sticks just to make it through the day.
They will never again wonder if anyone cares.

Our house feels different now — louder, happier, more alive. These two have brought so much joy into our home, and watching them heal has been one of the most unexpectedly beautiful things we’ve experienced. We call them velociraptors, turn sound on and you’ll see why. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

My son was hours from home in the middle of nowhere South Carolina when he saw something move out of the corner of his eye. Someone had dumped these two Pittie puppies on the side of the road. It was right around freezing and there was NO way my son was going to leave them there. He scooped them up, they were shivering and so cold. He rushed them back to the emergency vet here in Mount Pleasant. They were mostly healthy other than having worms. They are now worm free and can meet my grand dog Rocco. Rocco was completely zen with them.
They saw our amazing vet today and got their first vaccines and a clean bill of health.
Yes we are keeping them, we have named them Remi and R***r ❤️ 🐶 🐶 🐶 nation_ ***r
