Today is a really special day.
Ten years ago today, my mom had surgery to remove her cancer, and she has been cancer-free ever since. What an incredible milestone.
Watching someone you love walk through something so scary changes you. It makes you appreciate the ordinary days, the family dinners, the phone calls, the holidays, and all the moments in between that we so often take for granted.
Mom, we are so grateful for your strength, your resilience, and the beautiful life you’ve continued to build over these last ten years. What a gift it is to celebrate this anniversary with you.
And while we’re celebrating, my heart is with every person and family currently navigating a cancer diagnosis. My hope is that one day we find cures for all cancers, so that more families can celebrate milestones like this one.
Happy 10 years cancer-free, Mommacita. We love you beyond words. 🤍🎗️✨
