Some sessions don’t go exactly as planned… and somehow they turn out even sweeter. 🤍

The rain came and went all day, the skies were dreary, and we honestly weren’t sure we’d get much sunshine at all. But tucked away by the lake, we found the prettiest little pocket of light to celebrate sweet Elsie turning ONE. ☀️🌿

Watching one of my best friends love on her girls while documenting these moments felt extra special. The giggles, the cuddles, the tiny hand holds — these are the memories worth preserving.

Proof that even cloudy days can still hold so much beauty. ✨

I had the absolute joy of capturing her very first professional photos — and even more special, she’s my niece. From her tiny fingers to those peaceful little yawns, every moment was pure magic.
