What a wildly sad decision. I figured something would change at some point but never thought it would be such a drastic move.

I will hardly ever use Longwood Gardens now because this is honestly too much.

$250 for just my to entry is wild.

Not being allowed indoors takes away the whole benefit of the rain or shine option for sessions there.

And having a chaperone changes the whole atmosphere of your time there with your clients.

On top of that, not being able to have your clients change outfits with such a steep entry fee now isn’t worth it for the time you’ll spend there.

It also doesn’t say if you’re going to have a time limit for being there or not but I won’t be surprised if that’s next since you’d have a chaperone.
Sessions there are easily 2 hours just to account for all the walking...

So very unfortunate. 😭

Also as a note to photogs- you can be grateful for all the years we’ve been able to just pay entry to use this amazing place AND also be very upset about this change and have opinions on it 👏🏼
We have paid just like everyone else all these years and let’s be honest, most of us are less intrusive than the groups of tourists that we have all I’m sure run into during our visits over the years…
