Can I tell you about Dylan and Alyssa for a minute? Their wedding day was a vintage, pastel, garden party inspired celebration Vintage Fields 🌸⛲️🥂

Alyssa and Dylan are those people who are so genuine and kind you can’t help but want to be around them 🥹

It was an honor to document the day they became one. From their intimate ceremony to the sparkler send off and Alyssa’s reception dress change, the day was filled with so many memories and joy 🤩

The flowers by Olson’s Flowers of Mount Horeb brought Alyssa’s vision to life perfectly ✨ Overall the vendor team was fantastic and we loved working alongside them 🫶 This month has been so full of love + celebrations, it’s going to be hard to beat!

The reason downtown Madison remains one of our favorite engagement photo locations is that it gives couples options without making the session feel complicated 💛

You can start at the Capitol, wander through campus, stop at a coffee shop, walk along the lake, and somehow end up with a gallery that looks like it came from three completely different sessions 🌊

Jenny captured Alyssa and Colin’s engagement photos starting at the Capitol and ended overlooking the Madison skyline at Olin Park (part two coming soon!!) We couldn’t be more obsessed with their gallery ✨

It's couples finally giving themselves permission to build a day that actually feels like them.

Less "what are we supposed to do" and more "what do we actually want."

We're seeing couples prioritize guest experience over impressing people. Timelines with breathing room instead of back-to-back moments.

Candid photos that remind you how the day felt, not just how it looked. Cozy fall atmospheres — bonfires, candlelit receptions, long farm tables. 😍

And the color palettes? Richer, moodier, more elevated. Deep olive and champagne. Espresso and cream. Plum and mauve.
