While we are THRILLED to be nominated for the best photographer and best videographer categories, it was a bit baffling to see that we were also nominated for the best volunteer category.
Yes, it's true... I have volunteered my time to various organizations with my photography.

However, not seeing Christine Cruz's name in the voluntary category made me extremely sad.
Christine Cruz does a lot more for the community, and I would hope Lake and Sumter Style Magazine would correct the category by deleting my name and putting hers under the volunteer category instead

Years ago, when I got into the business, I remember another photographer telling me not to photograph kids, and especially animals, because there is no money in it, plus it's really hard.
I'm so glad I didn't listen to him.
