🌙👻 A Little Spooky, A Lot of Beautiful! 🎃

Halloween night brought its own kind of magic! The clouds were rolling across the sky, creating the most mysterious, almost haunting scene. With little stars peeking through the darkness and the silhouettes of the trees below, it looked like something straight out of a spooky movie.

Sometimes you don't need a perfectly clear sky to find beauty above you. Sometimes the clouds steal the show!
And here's a little reminder that you don't always need your big camera to capture a beautiful moment. This one was captured with my iPhone 17!

Sometimes all you have to do is look up, notice the beauty, and snap the picture.
Mother Nature certainly knows how to put on a Halloween display. 🖤🎃

A little wildlife adventure at the Gulfarium! 📸

Sometimes you don’t have to travel far to discover some pretty amazing subjects to photograph!

I enjoyed visiting the Gulfarium and capturing some of the cool animals there, from a curious tree monitor lizard and colorful poison dart frogs to the adorable African penguins, American white pelican and playful dolphins. Every animal has its own personality, unique details, and little moments worth capturing.

The poison dart frogs were especially fun to photograph, even through the glass! Wildlife photography is a great reminder that patience, observation, and a little creativity can turn an ordinary visit into an opportunity to capture something wonderful. ❤️

As a photographer, I’m always looking for the beauty in the details, whether it’s a family making memories, a bird in my backyard, or an animal that catches my eye.

You never know what amazing moment might be waiting behind your lens! 📷✨

From a gender reveal to 8 months old… where does the time go?!

A year ago on Oct. 8, I had the joy of capturing the excitement of this little girl’s gender reveal for her parents. Fast-forward to today, and I got to photograph her again for her 8-month milestone fall mini session! 🩷📸

Watching my clients’ families grow and getting to document these special chapters is one of the sweetest parts of being a photographer. One day, she’ll be able to look back at these photos and see just how tiny she was, those curious little eyes, and all the details her family never wants to forget. 🥰

Eight months of growing, discovering, and stealing hearts! And I’m so thankful I got to capture a little piece of her story. ❤️

A growing family, a whole lot of laughter, and memories to treasure! ❤️

This sweet family traveled from out of town for some time together, and I had the joy of capturing it all! From mom and dad to their adult children, one precious grandchild, and another little one on the way, this family has so much to celebrate.

They were absolutely amazing to work with, and the laughs we shared made this session even more fun! These are the moments I love documenting — the connections, the personalities, the laughter, and the beautiful story of a family that continues to grow.

Backyard Visitors & Feathered Friends! 🐿️ 🐦

First, a little squirrel was tucked away behind the branches, secretly keeping an eye on me. Then came the feathered friends!

Of course, they always seem to show up right away when my husband steps outside. He’s their official feeder, after all, and they know exactly who keeps the good stuff coming!

I could sit outside with my camera for hours watching these little visitors. They’re absolutely amazing, each with their own personality, and I love that they stop by several times a day. What a blessing it is to have these little moments of nature right in our own backyard!

Sometimes you don’t have to travel far to find something beautiful to photograph. You just have to slow down, look a little closer, and appreciate the wildlife right outside your door.
