Is that a lot? Yes, it is. Limiting has never been my forte'.

Truth be told: I love getting a multitude of images from my own family sessions. I assume that my clients won't ever complain about having too many images to choose from. No one ever has.

Does it take a while to edit a wedding? Yes, it does.

Culling a wedding alone is hours at my desk.

Editing a wedding is days upon days, and even weeks. Every single image is hand edited.

I want to be better. I want to be quicker. I will never think my work is as good as it needs to be.

I want to share a sneak peek within days of shooting a wedding, but man, sometimes it is a struggle to juggle being a mom, a wife, owning a business, corresponding to emails & texts, being present where I need to be, and shooting. I have incorporated boundaries with when I do certain things and it has been freeing.

Some of you have continued to invite me in for years, almost decades (with an "s", wild, I know). Thank you for that. I notice it. I appreciate it. My heart loves seeing you again and again.

Last weekend, I photographed a high school senior who was a baby the first time I had him behind my camera.

Some of you went in other directions for reasons that I may not be aware of. I sometimes wish I was bold enough to ask if I could've served those clients better or if there was a "why" behind it, but ultimately maybe I don't need to know. We have a lot of talent in our community and I am grateful for the friendships that I have formed with other photographers. I have learned so much from them and I know if you have visited them then I have confidence that they will serve you well.

Know that I love each of you. Know that I love getting to be a part of your wedding, family sessions, and all of the big moments that come your way.

I continue to trust the Lord and His provision for my business. He has not failed me yet.

Feeling humbled and grateful that I get to do something that I truly love and have loved for years upon years. Now, off to enjoy the beautiful weather with my boys.
