Liv is the kind of girl who makes cool look so easy!

Finally sharing a session I thoroughly enjoyed!

Gavin is not only an incredibly talented baseball player, but one of those kids you can’t help but like. I think he gets that from his parents, because they are 2 of the best people you’ll ever meet.

You know what’s crazy- I photographed him for 2 hours, and I never noticed his freckles! Paired with great hair and the sweetest personality to go with it, he was such a blast to shoot!

Fun fact, Gavin will continue playing baseball at the college level! What an exciting next chapter!

Congratulations, Gavin! You’ve earned this, and I can’t wait to see where baseball takes you. ⚾️

Beautiful Chalunie. 🤍

I loved that preserving her Hmong heritage and culture was important enough to Chalunie that she brought along a traditional Hmong outfit for her session.

And oh my gosh… was it FANCY!!! 😍

The embroidery, the details, the layers, the patterns… just beautiful! I love that Chalunie brought a piece of that story with her.

I know… I haven’t posted in FOREVER.
I’ve been busy wrapping up galleries, finishing orders, squeezing in those last senior shoots, and slowly watching senior season wind down as family season begins.

So while I’ve been a little quiet over here, I have so many beautiful sessions waiting to be shared!

Starting with a Senior Sunday post for the prettiest Senior- Lilly. ✨

That soft August light wrapped around her and made her glow. End of August sessions are my favorite. With her summer outfits with tones that lean toward fall, everything about this session felt warm & sweet.

I can’t wait to finally share Isabel! The baby of three girls and lucky for me, I’ve had the privilege of photographing all three of them.

And apparently, being an incredible athlete is just part of the family DNA. All three girls are amazing athletes, I’m still not sure if we should credit that to their track-coach dad or their marathon-running mom… but clearly, something is working. 😂

Then there’s Isabel’s style. ✨ Her indie/boho vibe was SO her, and I absolutely loved every bit of it. And when the Wisconsin heat and humidity decided to make an appearance, so did her gorgeous natural wave and honestly, they made her whole look even better.

But beyond the style and the athleticism, what I love most about this family is their spirit. They are just a genuinely fun, sweet, lighthearted fam and spending time with them is always the best!

I loved this outfit SO much that I had to give it its own moment. And apparently Paige agreed, because 3 out of her 4 outfits were blue and honestly, if you look great in blue, why not?!

Every single shade made her big blue eyes pop in the most gorgeous way. She is so tiny and so pretty, with eyes that genuinely look photoshopped in real life.

But then you see her mom, and her sister and you get it, because it’s like someone copy & pasted the same face on each one! 🤣 It’s wild.. they could be triplets. What a gorgeous family!

A summer full of weekends at her cabin & Bridget is radiating that summery, senior glow!

Add in the perfect outfits. Equal parts classy and fun, and a smile made for the camera, she absolutely nailed this session. 🩷

And of course, since Bridget’s little sister is one of my daughter’s best friends, three members of the Bridget Fan Club came along for the afternoon. 😂 They added plenty of giggles, and a whole lot of cheering for their favorite senior, because everyone loves Bridget!

I’ve had such a fun group of guys in front of my camera lately, and Jakob is definitely part of that crew! 🙌🏼

If you can’t tell, he’s a happy fella, quick to laugh and so sweet.
We hopped all around Wausau’s downtown & a local park while chatting about music while his mom Tracy provided hilarious commentary.

Great light, a handsome senior with country club style and conversation that flows. That’s the recipe for a perfect session!
