Wow, wow, wow! 😍 The perfect sunset, the best company, and way too many laughs.

I flew out a few weeks ago to capture my cousin Elyse's engagement to Eddie, and seeing them together makes me so happy. We timed the beach sunset perfectly and it honestly made me a little nervous because those colors were magical and I didn't want to miss any moment. I couldn't be happier with the turnout though and I would fly to the beach any date for photos like this.

I’m so incredibly happy for both of them and can’t wait to celebrate them on their wedding day. ❤️

I cannot get over how STUNNING this girl is. An absolute beauty. I had so much fun taking these senior photos and feel so grateful to have been asked. I had my assistant (husband) with me as well who nailed the epic mountain shots by embracing his inner national geographic skills and going into the brush for the money shot. I just love the way these turned out soo much!

I don't think I stopped smiling once during this engagement session with Wade and Kel. Their energy is so genuine and their joy for each other is completely infectious! I had as much fun taking these photos as I did going back through them again, and even now, I can't help but laugh looking at some of the moments we captured. It's so clear that these two are meant to be and their love radiates off of the screen. Congratulations again, you two! Looking forward to your big day next year! ❤️

Life with 3 boys is like getting a couple good photos where there is evidence that life isn't 100% chaos and then the rest are displays of all the energy 😂.

What an absolute honor it was to capture Helen's 100th birthday party! It felt so special to document this incredible milestone for a woman I have known since I was a little girl. And can you believe she's still living alone and mowing her own lawn?! What a woman! I also learned she enjoys a good glass of Kessler – definitely a sign of a real one! We had a sweet moment during the party where I asked her if she was tired of smiling yet, and she modestly told me she didn't feel very photogenic. I couldn't disagree more; these photos are proof of her radiant spirit. The picture in the top left is a photo of Helen with her friend (Aunt Virgie), who stood up in her wedding many, many moons ago, right in the very same church where we took these birthday photos. It was a day filled with so much joy and history!

And just like that, I’m an auntie to a 2 year old! Briggs brings everyone around him so much joy and it’s been so wonderful to watch him get cuter every year. Love this little boy to pieces!

Andy Bernhagen and I took photos of Wesley Duberstein and Maggie Duberstein’s wedding last weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The weather that day was absolutely beautiful and I love that they chose to get married at their home. I love so many of these pictures and am so glad Andy and I got to work together again on another wedding. 🙂

And just like that, the little cutie Sloane has turned 1! Her entire session was filled with smiles and laughter. Obviously, some of the laughter was from her ability to give impressive fish hooks to her dad. I couldn’t get enough of her smile and I am thankful that I got the opportunity to photograph such a special milestone in her life. ❤
