Something I don't talk about here is volunteering; I've always been an animal-lover and volunteer at animal control. Needless to say, I miss those dogs like crazy. Words can't explain how much joy they put into my heart - especially when they walk out the door to a permanent home! :) I cannot WAIT to get back to them.

Here's a throwback to volunteering at Best Friends Animal Society (they're the folks who rescued the Michael Vick dogs and have made incredible strides for animals around the country). Visiting their Kanab HQ is a MUST! I've been several times, and it never fails to astound me :)
